FTDNA has updated my haplogroup to E-FT18121, which corresponds to E-Y18629* on YFull. However, they haven't finished analyzing the results, and I don't yet have access to the Big Y data.

@Malawax hope all is well! We reached out to the Tuur Yar brother and he said he is Anas which is Yiber and Tur Yaar is his sub sub clan.

Interesting because Yiber or Anas seem to have varied haplogroups within E-V32.

Another Yiber who completed a big y has E-FGC56418 and this seems to be the most common based on str comparisons. There was also a supposed Yiber Aseer who had a north African haplogroup on Reddit.

Insha Allah we will learn more as more folks test.

Yes sis-looks like big number of Anas According to STRs being very close and of of them getting FGC56418 which under the
Dhulbahante Ydna Marker E-FT18668 means are dhulbahante Ydna wise.

Yes it’s pretty interesting. Also intriguing that Tur Yar is known as Yiber but also elder of dhulbahante by others but paternally closer to some mjs? Maybe yiber or Anaasin were a part of a religious confederation of sorts. Very fascinating indeed. DNA studies is really making us re-examine the connections and qabil dynamics.

Yes, all is well, thank you. I hope you're doing well too.
Please update his profile as soon as you can.

Will do! I’ll list him as Yiber Tuur Yar. I’ll see if he wants me to list it any other way because sometimes they prefer Anaas or Banu Hanifa over Yiber since it’s considered a given name for Giber (tax in Amharic).
@Malawax @BluSkee my subclade will have another T2T upgrade, id:YF087102 paid for an upgrade.

Nice! Thanks for the update.

Brother @Koombe. could you please check the SNPs listed below in your sample and let me know how they are rated? I share these with you and others from different branches, yet they are still marked as private on my end, all have "1 Star" quality rating.

I’d appreciate it if others could also check their samples.
