Chinese "Whistleblower" Wearing Incorrect Police Uniform on Western Media

I don't know Chinese but if this YouTuber is correct then the alleged police officer isn't even wearing a correct police uniform. I have no reason to trust CNN over this guy.

It isn't fard to believe CNN. People can look at the evidence on both sides and draw their own conclusions. I've looked at both sides and I think the Western media is massively exaggerating about Xinjiang for geopolitical reasons.

The post is making the non sequitur fallacy.

Just because someone thinks that the media is lying (yet again) it doesn't necessarily follow that they are siding with the kuffar against the Muslims.
the best lies contain some truth in them, but do remember it's the Chinese we are talking about they are not known to be merciful, this quote from mao Zedong shows the ccps view on their people, "China has a population of 600 million even if half of them die, there are 300 million left",

Thousands of muslims are lying then, these are not kuffar but actual uyghurs btw committing fallacy doesn’t make the argument wrong, you’re committing the fallacy fallacy

Maybe you've been to Xinjiang and talked to ordinary Uyghurs there. I've never been there and I've never met a Uyghur. As for Uyghurs on CNN or other media outlets... I don't know how representative they are of ordinary Uyghurs. Unless we've actually been to Xinjian and spoken to ordinary Uyghurs on the ground, I don't think any of us can claim to speak for ordinary Uyghurs.

I'm not an expert on China, I don't speak Chinese, I don't know much about China.

But unless people know Chinese, I don't think they really know much about the country. I don't think you can really know a country that well if you don't know their language.

It's like Saddam for example. Pretty much any media in English is going to be anti-Saddam. You can't really get the pro-Saddam perspective unless you know Arabic.

I think it's probably the same with China. I think the material in English is probably way different than the material in Chinese.

I don't really have an opinion on Mao for example. I would want to study both sides and study the material in Chinese before I formed an opinion. I don't even know if that's a real quote from Mao Zedong or what the context is.

I don't have a burning hatred of the Chinese. The Chinese haven't really done anything to me as far as I'm aware.

So thousands of Muslims are lying the notorius cop is telling the truth

What Muslims? I haven't been to Xinjiang and talked to ordinary Uyghurs there. Seeing a Uyghur on CNN isn't the same thing.

lets clear the air, i have no problem with the Chinese people, but their country's leaders are quite immoral in the way they have acted, my view's on mao Zedong is that he was a great general but not a good statesman(the one that confirmed the validity of the quote is Nikita Khrushchev a fellow communist leader that china was close allies with at the time so take it as you will), I agree that an unbiased Chinese perspective not given by the Chinese or US government is needed, but still all liers know that the best lies have some nugget of truth and i do not doubt that it does.

I think the mainstream narrative lies about the Holocaust, the coronavirus and the "vaccines".

I think the media lies all the time. I think there is a nugget of truth in that maybe they are pushing some kind of "moderate Islam" on people they consider extremists but that doesn't necessarily mean they are actually committing a genocide. I think they're doing something like France where they're pushing what they consider "moderate Islam" on people they consider radicals.

As far as the quote, I would like to see the actual source before I accept it as being authentic.

As far as Mao... I follow the same basic principles as I would with Somalia, Spain or Italy.

You look at Mussolini for example. I bought an English-language book on Mussolini and it was utter garbage. It was basically like 500 pages of "Mussolini bad"- all telling me "Mussolini bad" rather than just laying out the facts and letting me decide for myself.

If you want to study Mussolini in a serious way- you have to study Italian-language sources.

It's the same principle imo if you want to study Siad Barre, Francisco Franco, Mao Zedong, Saddam, etc.

So I don't really have much of an opinion on Mao Zedong. If I wanted to learn about Siad Barre, I wouldn't want to ask some white person- I would want to talk to Somalis and consult Somali-language sources. That is the methodology I believe in when it comes to history.

When it comes to Mao, Chinese people and Westerners seem to have way different views. But if I want to know about Mao- I would want to talk to Chinese people not some white person. I don't think I would accept the idea that white people know Chinese history better than Chinese themselves.

So I don't really have much of an opinion on Mao and I'm not really qualified when it comes to Mao. I know he promoted Communism which promoted atheism and of course I'm against his ideology- but I know very little about the man and I don't really trust English-language sources on him. It's like Saddam- pretty much everything in English is only giving one point of view.

I don't think I've ever even used the word "Burma" in my life. I don't know anything about Burma and I don't talk about it.

As for Palestine... Palestine is not like for example the Holocaust. With Palestine everyone pretty much agrees on the basic facts but it's really a dispute over the interpretation of the facts. With the Holocaust debate it's really a dispute over the actual basic facts. And when it comes to Xinjiang, there is a dispute over the basic facts- "are they or are they not committing a genocide?". Same with the WMD issue- it's a dispute in regards to facts rather than the interpretation of the facts. They were lying in terms of the basic facts.

Even the Zionists don't really dispute the basic facts all that much when it comes to Palestine- they just argue they were justified.

But if I was a conspiracy theorist and I honestly believed that the Palestine issue was fake and I expressed that view- it wouldn't make me a kaffir, I would just be mistaken in terms of the facts and it would be an honest mistake. I have studied both sides in regards to the Xinjiang issue and I genuinely believe the media is lying and/or exaggerating when it comes to what's going on there.

what is the tinfoil hat aspect? you believe in the holocaust hoax?

I don't see why I should believe you if you think emojis are a substitute for arguments. I would rather go with substance, evidence, intellectual debate, etc. rather than a contest in the use of funny emojis.

i agree that a native perspective is of importance here's the quote

“We shouldn’t be afraid of atomic missiles. No matter what kind of war breaks out, conventional or nuclear, we will win… If the imperialists unleash war on us, we may lose more than 300 million people. So what? War is war. The years will pass and we will get to work making more babies than ever before.”
Mao Zedong to Nikita Khrushchev, 1957

I don't think that's a monstrous thing to say. He's just expressing his and his country's willingness to resist foreign imperialist powers. Fidel had a similar attitude when it came to the Cuban missile crisis. Pakistan has a similar attitude when it comes to standing up to India. I don't have a problem with it. "War is war," as he said. You have to have guts to stand up to opponents.

true still the government has inherited ruthlessly pragmatic mindset in all matters even under piece time that is what i find problematic, that ruthless pragmatism is what gave birth to the current surveillance state that they are, it's good for war and business but not 24/7 in all matters
