We should get over exaggerations and thank these group of people who defended our (Somalia's) maritime border:

1) The 8th parliament of Somalia that rejected the disasterous MoU in August 2009;
2) President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and his government who filed the case with the ICJ
3) President Mohamed A Mohamed (Farmaajo) who stood his ground and refused to be bullied by Kenya and its western backers in order to withdraw the case from ICJ and his administration
4) The Somali legal team who worked tirelessly to present our case.

We may not like some of the court's decision; but, by and large, we achieved our aim. Under the present circumstances, we should be grateful to Allah (swt) that we achieved this much.

I would like to remind every Somali that on 29 November, 1947 the UN partitioned Palestine between Jews and Arabs. The Arabs refused. The Western powers were supporting the Jews. Today, the Arabs nearly lost all of it. Somalia is in a weak position, engineered by Western powers with the assistance of low IQ Somalis. We are placed under illegal "UN trusteeship". An unjust arms embargo was imposed on us. Other countries (Kenya, UAE, UK, AMISOM, etc) were all empowered to invade and do as they wish with our land. Irrational emotions will not rescue us. Let us take this verdict and every Somali should support the Somali government to build and equip national armed forces.
